CUPE 4879 offers a Scholarship Award to members, their Child/Spouse, or those under their guardianship
Three $1000 education awards are available. Preference will be given for one award to a student in a trade, technical, or vocational program; for the second award, preference will be given to a student in an academic program, and the third will be awarded to a student in either a trade or academic program.

Congratulations to both award winners and their families!
Staff are invited to participate in a focus group this Thursday, January 24 over the lunch hour. Lunch will be provided. Space in the focus group is limited to 12 people.
The focus group will provide input required for the Task Force on Safety and Security. It will be facilitated by Mr. Mark Lalonde of CKR Global, the firm engaged by the university to review specific areas of TRU operations, including health & safety, physical plant, threat assessment, information security, social media/communications and emergency preparedness across both TRU campuses and at the regional centres.
